Dear Friends,

On behalf of the Board of Directors and the campers who were able to enjoy our facilities this summer, I want to take this opportunity to say, "Thank You" for your generous support of this ministry.

Nemeiben Lake Canoe and Bible Camp was founded in 1969 with a vision to use the northern wilderness to introduce people to Jesus. Thirty two years later we have not changed our focus. Yes, we may do camp a little differently, but our objective remains the same. Our vision is to use the unique opportunities afforded by the majesty and solitude of the North to introduce individuals to Jesus.

We are excited about recent developments in our ministry.
* The partnerships God has given us with ministries in the La Ronge area are very fulfilling.
* Last summer we re-introduced canoe camping to our program as a group of individuals did the loop from camp to Otter Rapids.
* We are moving closer to having a fully winterized facility as our new lodge approaches completion.

We are busy preparing for the 2002 camping season. Please pray with us that God would bring the camps and campers to us who would benefit most from our ministry; that our board would make wise decisions as we prepare 'The Ark' for the up-coming season (the motor needs to be replaced); that funds would be available to allow us to finish ($6000) and furnish ($4000) the new building; and that above all, Nemeiben Lake Canoe and Bible camp would be a testimony to the grace and goodness of God.

Thank you again for your support. We covet your Prayers.

Sincerely,

David Toth,
For the Board of Directors, Nemeiben Lake Canoe and Bible Camp.

PS: Update: God blessed us with enough special donations for the replacement motor. As this is posted (April 16), Dale Epp is graciously fiber glassing in the motor mounts. In the next few days the Ark will make the trip to Pallies Mercury Boats to have the donated inboard motor installed. Pray that all goes well in this installation. We will be soon having another fundraiser to raise enough money to make the new building usable for the summer camps. Watch for further updates.
